ANSWERS:
1) B. - We had around 2,000 LPs & 45s on opening day in 2000.
2) D. - At that time, it was better known as the Masonic Temple.
3) A. - We actually considered naming the store "Pink Door Records" for a short time. Thankfully, we decided against it.
4) A. - True story. The first customer we ever had walked in the door, made a strange face, then turned around & left without saying a word.
5) D. - Our original idea was to call the store "AAA Records", but many other businesses already call themselves "AA", "AAA", "A-1", and so forth.
6) A. - Who knew that our old space would be sandwiched between a future Starbucks and Centro Restaurant?
7) C.
8) E. - As far as we know, Weird Al has never graced us with his presence, unfortunately.
9) C. - For the most part this is true. We have sold an eight track or two during a sidewalk sale, but never in the store itself.
10) A. - Yes, we were in the crosshairs of possibly that lovable southside city councilman -- the same one who made CIETC a household name. For the record, Lisa Howard has yet to become a city councilperson.
11) D. - Before the city shut down our musical performances, we had some impressive names come through. Joanna Newsom has played at the Vaudeville Mews, but never in our store.
12) A. - See the F.A.Q. for further explanation.
13) E. - Honest... all the other questions are standard on our application.
